You will have the option to shop on

Mondays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. OR

Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Please note that you may only visit the pantry 1 day per week.

We are closed if schools are closed for inclement weather.

Remember to bring your reusable bags

First-time visitors will be asked to complete a brief intake form.

We accept donations on Mondays from: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please do not leave donations outside. Thank you.

Throughout April 2024, for every $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger Bag purchased at Hannaford, at 149 Dublin Street, Machias, Maine, Machias Area Food Pantry will receive $1.

It is official the walk-in freezer and refrigerator are operational as of April 23. Thank you all for your generous contributions.

In April downeast Banking and Insurance donated $1,028.

Also in April Rose M Gaffney penny challenge students donated $1,038.43. Every penny counts towards helping our neighbors.
